Ladies and Gents, it is here: Philly Beer Week 2012. Here are some great things going on this weekend, but if you can?t make them, don?t worry about it because beer week is TEN DAYS LONG. Must?ve been named after a few drinks.

FRIDAY:

>>>Yards Brewing is joining up with City Tavern (138 South 2nd Street) to toast the history of the esteemed drinking spot, featuring Yards? Ales of the Revolution and a menu prepared by Chef Walter Staib.
>>>The Boilermaker (216 S 11th St) will host The Keystone State Showcase with hot dog and spirit pairings. Beer. Paired with hot dogs. By professionals. Any questions?

>>>Four of our favorite words are combined together as Continental Old City (138 Market Street) hosts the Chocolate Bacon Beer Brunch with Prism Brewery from 10 AM to 4 PM. Prism?s Jack Armstrong will be on hand to talk beer as guests enjoy brunch items like Bacon Waffles with mascarpone cr?me and bourbon maple syrup and Banana Brandy Caramel French Toast.
