Radio Communications Technician ? $75k + Base (experience dependant) + Vehicle Industry leading brands Gladstone & Central QLD Installation and maintenance of digital 2 way radio infrastructure and wireless networks with a strong Mining focus. Work with Industry leading brands and global clients. Your responsibilities: Modify, repair, maintain and install communication systems, equipment, parts and accessories. Analyse technical problems using test equipment and make "on-air tests" in accordance with customer operational environment. Diagnose and correct malfunctions in company and other related third party system equipment including linking microwave, multiplexing equipment, RF antenna and power systems. Verify conformance of each customer's frequency and power output for compliance with prescribed equipment specification, maintenance inspection plan and ACMA regulations. The requirements: Minimum 3 years experience installing and maintaining 2 way radio's and infrastructure Radio trades certificate or relevant qualifications Excellent problem solving and communication skills Experience with digital trunking systems (P25, IDAS or MPT) Thorough understanding of RF principles and antenna systems Proven experience with UHF/VHF technologies Understanding of IP Networking principles Knowledge of wireless data For a confidential discussion regarding this role please contact Brad Dwyer OR apply below.
